Shipping Information

There is no way around it, shipping small amounts of frozen food and ensuring it remains frozen to your door is difficult and expensive.

I wish I could offer free shipping, I want everyone to have access to sustainable, delicious seafood at a fair price. It is difficult seeing boxes shipped overnight at a rate that doubles the price of the fish.

Some ways to lower shipping costs:

-Buy fish in bulk. In general the more weight is in the package, the cheaper the price per pound. For instance buying two pounds of prawns shipping will cost about $75 however ten pounds of prawns shipping will be about $150. Obviously $15/pound is not ideal but it is much better than 37.50/pound.

- Split orders with your friends and neighbors. I am happy to combine shipments, lowering the per unit cost!

-Look for pop up sales in your area. I will be announcing places to buy fish in the lower 48 throughout next winter. Follow @chugachfishdotcom on instagram

Fed-Ex Next Day

Fed-ex next day air is the only service I have found to reliably deliver frozen seafood that remains frozen to the home. Unfortunately this option is quite expensive. Rates are calculated at checkout.
